The role
The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities and fostering partnerships to enhance marketplace offerings. The candidate will conduct market research, analyse customer needs, and attend industry events to identify trends. They will establish and negotiate contracts with vendors, develop growth strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful seller onboarding. The position requires building strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders, while monitoring marketplace performance through data analytics. Leadership responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team to meet KPIs and strategic goals. The ideal candidate has experience in marketplace or ecommerce environments, with strong negotiation, analytical, and team management skills.
