The role
A senior chemical process engineer programme is sought in Manchester to support various projects within the fine chemicals sector. The candidate will need strong technical skills in process design, development of PFDs and PIDs, and process descriptions, along with experience in process equipment datasheets and process sizing calculations. Responsibilities include conducting HAZOP sessions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and managing multiple projects ranging from greenfield developments to modifications. Effective communication with clients and team members is essential, as is willingness to travel within the UK and overseas. The role requires Chartered Engineer status and over 10 years of relevant experience, with a blend of technical expertise, leadership qualities, and versatility. This position offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two from home in Manchester.
