The role
A Consultant Oncologist in Stoke-on-Trent works within a team of specialists delivering comprehensive oncology services to the local population. The role involves participating in clinical duties, audit, teaching, training, and research in oncology and haematology. The postholder will rotate between hospital sites, sharing responsibilities with colleagues and contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education. Candidates must possess full GMC registration, MRCP and FRCR or equivalent, and be on or near the UK Specialist Register. Skills needed include clinical audit, strategic planning, team motivation, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
