The role
Provide day-to-day operational legal support to faith-based ministries to enable their religious missions.
Review governing documents, handbooks, policies, and select contracts; advise on ministries' rights and responsibilities.
Develop and maintain resources, policies, and best practices for ministry operations and compliance.
Identify threats to religious liberty and guide ministries on protective steps; assist in response plans.
Educate ministries through speaking engagements, publications, webinars, and media engagement; build broad, cross-denominational relationships.
Support Allied Attorneys, grow CMA member networks, and deepen knowledge about churches, ministries, and Christian schools.
