The role
Lead a high-impact ML-driven search backend team delivering indexing, document ranking, query understanding, and personalization at scale.
Own end-to-end roadmap and architecture for production-grade systems, including ML-based retrieval, multimodal search, and infrastructure efficiency.
Collaborate closely with product, data science, research, and design to translate user needs into scalable search improvements.
Mentor and grow managers, leaders, and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
Drive scalable, reliable systems with a focus on performance, latency, and operational excellence in a large-scale search environment.
Required: 3+ years leading ML-based engineering teams of 5+ people; 7+ years software development; strong background in ML, NLP, CV, and big data.
