The role
Plan, organize, and coordinate the hospital's comprehensive compliance program in alignment with local, state, and federal laws and Joint Commission standards.
Develop and administer policies, procedures, training, and auditing processes to prevent illegal or unethical conduct and ensure ongoing program effectiveness.
Investigate compliance violations, implement corrective actions, and monitor trends with timely reporting to executive leadership.
Lead communication of standards, coordinate cross-department training, and foster a culture of ethical behavior and safe reporting channels.
Provide strategic guidance on regulatory changes, risk assessment, budgeting, and resource planning; participate in committees and organizational planning.
Maintain the Code of Conduct, ensure proper screening for debarment, and support governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
