The role
Performs compliance inspections and investigations to enforce Coin Operated Amusement Machines (COAM) laws and regulations within districts.
Inspects licenses, records, and equipment at COAM locations and master license holder facilities.
Completes detailed documentation and issues citations for non-compliance.
Interviews witnesses and other involved parties and presents findings in administrative hearings as well as civil and criminal court proceedings.
Collaborates with law enforcement, prosecutors, witnesses, players, complainants, and other departments.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field; 3-5 years investigative experience; valid driver's license; and authorization to work in the United States.
