The role
Generate accurate construction cost estimates for commercial projects by reviewing plans, specifications, and drawings.
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed budgets using estimating software and industry tools.
Lead pre-bid activities including site walks, site condition assessments, and value engineering discussions with subcontractors and clients.
Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate proposals, and develop comprehensive bid packages.
Collaborate with project teams during preconstruction to monitor costs and align with initial estimates.
Contribute to estimation processes, improve systems, and support business development in securing new projects.
