The role
As part of the Emerging Tech team, you’ll design and scale distributed backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that power AI-driven, context-aware shopping experiences for millions of customers.
Own service architecture, data flows, and API design to deliver fast, reliable, low-latency experiences in production.
Collaborate with mobile, web, and AI/ML squads to integrate generative and agentic AI with scalable backend infrastructure.
Evolve services using modern cloud, containerization, observability, and CI/CD practices; troubleshoot complex production issues and drive postmortems.
Mentor engineers and help shape long-term architectural direction across services while partnering with product and platform teams.
