The role
Oversees nursing care and care coordination for the unit during the designated shift, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and smooth patient flow.
Collaborates with leadership and subject matter experts to assess and improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.
Fosters a teamwork-driven environment, supports a patient-first philosophy, and engages in service recovery as needed.
Manages staff scheduling and labor utilization in alignment with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
Monitors inventory, supplies, and equipment, while participating in training, performance evaluations, and policy adherence.
