The role
Provide in-house legal support to investment teams across public and private markets, advising on contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues.
Negotiate and review investment and vendor agreements, including ISDAs, GMRA, MCAs, and MSFTAs.
Ensure adherence to state statutes, procurement rules, and agency policies; assist with public records requests and open meetings matters.
Conduct legal research on a wide range of investment and non-investment topics, translating findings into practical guidance.
Collaborate with outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders such as portfolio managers, operations, traders, and technology teams.
Grow as a trusted advisor across legal disciplines in a public asset management setting, with a hybrid work arrangement.
