The role
Support a broad range of energy, infrastructure, and sustainability-driven transactions across the full lifecycle of complex energy projects.
Lead project development, construction contracting, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and innovative financing structures involving efficiency upgrades, renewable assets, and distributed infrastructure portfolios.
Draft, negotiate, and manage sophisticated project and commercial contracts including EPCs, PPAs, O&M agreements, asset purchase agreements, and financing documents.
Conduct due diligence and coordinate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and sophisticated commercial clients.
Require 3-6 years of energy, infrastructure, or commercial project transaction experience; JD from an accredited law school; admission to practice in at least one U.S. state (in-house or state admission if required).
Preferred experience includes renewable energy development, project finance (back-leverage or tax equity), distributed infrastructure, and multilingual capabilities (Spanish a plus) or data-driven energy solutions.
