The role
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Specialist Surgery team at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. The role involves providing expert assessment and holistic therapy across surgical wards, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and independence post-surgery. Candidates should have experience in surgical specialties within an acute hospital setting, demonstrating excellent communication, organisational, and clinical skills. The position requires autonomous practice, involvement in staff supervision, and contribution to service development, with participation in a 7-day rota.
