Founding AI/ML Research Engineer

Lead the technical direction for a new consumer AI product by shaping model selection, training strategy, and scalable architectures. Own end-to-end pipelines from data collection to training, evaluation, and deployment, and design novel model architectures or adapt frontier open-source models. Fine-tune models with LoRA/QLoRA, SFT, DPO, and distillation; architect scalable inference using vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, or DeepSpeed. Build data systems for high-quality synthetic and real-world training data, and develop alignment, safety, and guardrail strategies. Shape early product direction, experiment with new use cases, and ship AI-powered experiences from zero while owning GPU optimization and latency reductions. Operate with extreme ownership in a zero-to-one setting, collaborating with senior engineers, and establishing long-term technical standards.
