The role
Take ownership to build the core ML product by shaping training pipelines from data to inference and defining the model stack. Design and adapt frontier language models, crafting scalable architectures and inference stacks (vLLM, DeepSpeed, TensorRT-LLM). Fine-tune models using LoRA/QLoRA, SFT, DPO, and distillation; explore retrieval-augmented training and mixture-of-experts. Create data systems for high-quality synthetic and real-world data; implement alignment, safety guardrails, and robust evaluation across performance, safety, and bias. Own deployment aspects including GPU optimization, memory efficiency, latency reduction, and scalable deployment policies. Shape early product direction as a founding contributor, delivering zero-to-one technical solutions with a high-performance, founder-minded team.
