The role
The apprenticeship involves supporting customer deployments, surveying new opportunities, and configuring equipment in preparation for installation. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience with WiFi, VOIP, CCTV, and switching, working with experienced engineers and studying towards a Level 4 qualification. Duties include troubleshooting, documenting changes, carrying out surveys using advanced tools, and installing network equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Candidates should have relevant IT or networking qualifications, good communication skills, practical skills, and a full UK driving licence. The programme combines digital learning modules, vendor certifications, hands-on labs, and assessor support, preparing apprentices for a professional career in networking.
