The role
A global hedge fund is seeking a senior network engineer to develop and maintain its trading infrastructure, focusing on building ultra-fast, reliable networks. The role involves designing, deploying and troubleshooting global network systems, implementing industry-leading optimisations, and supporting high-frequency trading teams. Candidates should have experience with LAN/WAN, data centres, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and security platforms such as Palo Alto and Fortinet. Technical skills in MPLS, BGP, OSPF, multicast, TCP/UDP, automation, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Linux are essential.
