The role
Lead the design of electrical power and lighting systems for new construction and renovations, ensuring NEC compliance and adherence to project standards.
Perform pre-design field surveys, load summaries, single-line and riser diagrams, lighting control designs, and fire alarm layouts.
Coordinate CAD deliverables in AutoCAD and Revit, develop general specifications, and manage drawing packages with QA/QC.
Provide engineering calculations including voltage drop, load flow, short circuit, and arc flash assessments.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and consultant coordination; review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and permit approvals.
Require California PE licensure with 10+ years of experience; candidates should be self-starters with strong communication and organizational skills.
