The role
A shuttering carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling timber and proprietary formwork for concrete structures, interpreting technical drawings and preparing moulds. They work as part of a team on significant civil engineering projects, maintaining high safety standards and ensuring quality work. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and experience with formwork systems like Doka or Peri are desirable skills. Candidates must possess a valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card and be willing to undergo safety medical and drug testing. The role involves adherence to health and safety regulations, technical proficiency, and team collaboration in a construction setting.
