The role
A Quality and Environmental Engineer is responsible for conducting inspections, managing non-conformance processes, verifying components against specifications, supporting internal audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives such as 6S and lean manufacturing. The role involves liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with standards like AS9100 and ISO14001. Candidates are expected to have at least two years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or a similar sector, or a strong academic background with relevant skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, FAI, PFMEA, and Control Plans is essential, with certifications like AS9100/ISO9001 Auditor, ISO14001 Auditor, or Six Sigma being advantageous.
