The role
Lead the design, development, and deployment of simulation tools to enable data-driven decision making in the supply chain.
Build and validate distribution center models to identify efficiency gains and automation opportunities (conveyors, sorters, high-speed picking, and robotic work cells).
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to validate models and design scenarios that improve overall outcomes, including cost-to-serve analyses.
Develop and support in-house simulation capabilities, including processes, tools, and training; create interactive dashboards for input and outputs.
Train teams in self-service modeling and stay current with trends in modeling and simulation.
Travel approximately two weeks per quarter and apply five to seven years of related experience to inform strategic decisions.
