The role
Oversee quantity take-offs (volumetric, linear, and area) from plans and specifications to determine project scope and costs.
Interpret drawings and specifications to develop accurate construction cost estimates and identify potential risks.
Gather pricing from subcontractors and vendors, evaluate bids, and assist in preparing competitive bid proposals.
Support preliminary budgeting and maintain client relationships to support project opportunities.
Ensure accurate bid submittals and perform detailed turnover of awarded projects to operations.
Requires a BS in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience), 5+ years in commercial estimating, strong MS Office skills, and proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, and Timberline.
