The role
Be the primary owner of the data needs for a specific product vertical, from raw-data ingestion to end-user analysis.
Build intuitive, high-quality datasets using Spark and DBT, enabling scalable analytics.
Detect and fix data quality issues, implementing monitors and alerts to prevent incidents.
Participate in occasional on-call rotation (12-hour shifts, about 1-2 per month).
Document your vertical's datasets and educate teammates on table and field usage.
Collaborate with the core data infrastructure team to deliver business-ready data solutions efficiently.
