The role
An Oracle DBA is responsible for building, tuning and migrating databases, ensuring data integrity and supporting performance optimisation within complex digital environments. The role involves executing data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes while maintaining reliable database systems. Candidates should possess experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and backup and recovery procedures. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively manage incidents, document procedures, and coordinate with relevant teams. The position requires on-site presence three days a week at designated locations in Manchester or nearby areas. Proven competency in database technology and adherence to security standards are critical for success in this role.
