The role
A live-in carer provides personalised support to older clients in their homes, ensuring quality care and companionship. The role involves assisting with daily activities, medication management, and enabling independence, within a technical environment that may include care planning software and communication tools. Candidates should possess good interpersonal and organisational skills, and have previous experience in live-in care. Flexibility, compassion, and reliability are essential personal qualities for success in this position. The role may require a driving licence and access to a vehicle, and involves working with vulnerable clients requiring enhanced DBS checks. Care professionals in this role are expected to uphold high standards of ethical practice and confidentiality and contribute positively to clients’ wellbeing.
