The role
A factory operative is responsible for manual handling of stock, learning to operate various machines, using hand and power tools, and palletising and banding stock in a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires performing physically demanding tasks and being willing to learn new skills. Candidates should be comfortable in a factory setting and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Technical skills such as machine operation and manual handling are essential, along with good organisational and safety awareness. The role involves regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
