The role
Based in the Department of International Relations, the post holder will conduct and publish high-quality research, contribute to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, engage in departmental and wider university activities, and support diversity and inclusion initiatives. Candidates must have expertise and research interests aligned with International Relations or International Political Economy, particularly in Global Environmental Politics, Environmental Justice, or Energy Politics. A PhD or near completion in a relevant field is essential, along with a record or potential for publishing in top international journals or with esteemed publishers. Excellent communication skills and team collaboration are required, and experience in fostering an inclusive academic environment is valued. The role offers a competitive salary, pension, research support, and development opportunities, starting September 2027.
