The role
We are seeking a qualified Civil Construction Estimator to prepare competitive bids for site work, drainage, concrete, and asphalt projects.
Analyze plans and specifications, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and develop accurate cost estimates.
Solicit supplier pricing, evaluate quotes, and identify cost-saving options and value engineering opportunities.
Coordinate with project managers and operations during bid preparation to deliver well-organized bid packages.
Maintain meticulous records of estimates, bids, and project documentation while managing multiple bids to meet deadlines.
Requirements include 3+ years in civil/site construction estimating, proficiency with estimating software and Excel, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
