The role
Lead Mechanical Engineer role focused on design, development, and rigorous testing of complex mechanical systems from concept to production.
Own CAD modeling and simulations (FEA/CFD), develop drawings, specifications, and BOMs, and ensure robust designs meet performance, safety, and cost targets.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with electrical, software, industrial design, and manufacturing teams while mentoring junior engineers.
Oversee prototyping, validation, and troubleshooting across prototypes and production builds, driving continuous improvement in design and processes.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 7-10 years of product development experience and hands-on, on-site execution in Austin, TX.
