The role
Lead the design and integration of novel robotic systems across control, perception, and planning, applying both classical and learned methods.
Enable research into robot foundation models by partnering with mechanical/electrical engineers, technicians, and researchers to build and integrate enabling technologies.
Collaborate with robotics researchers to apply and translate research into robust, perceptive, and scalable systems.
Design creative system solutions that fuse actuation, structure, and sensing, including new mechanisms and sensing modalities for human-scale manipulation and dexterity.
Contribute to full-stack robotics development, including electromechanical interfaces, software design, data pipelines, and deployment of learned policies.
Publish and open-source impact through research contributions while delivering practical, field-ready robotics capabilities.
