The role
Partner with general contractors and internal operations to qualify, estimate, sell, and manage landscape and irrigation installations on construction projects.
Interpret construction documents and specifications to determine project scope and required materials.
Perform takeoffs using software to produce accurate quantities and costs; assess bid packages for completeness and compliance.
Source up-to-date pricing from vendors and subcontractors; develop detailed bid proposals with margins.
Compare actuals to estimates to improve efficiency and profitability while learning from project outcomes.
Collaborate with estimating team and operations for bid management, submittals, closeouts, and contract handoff.
