The role
Lead the design, development, and operation of a scalable data platform that supports 100M+ daily and 300M+ monthly users, with a focus on governance and reliability.
Shape data usage across the company by enabling trusted access for engineers and scientists through scalable, secure data infrastructure.
Build from scratch where needed, delivering impact in days to weeks and driving continuous improvements in data tooling and workflows.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align data solutions with business goals and ensure data quality and observability.
Work with Python, Spark, Hive, Iceberg, Flink, Kubernetes, and AWS or on-prem as appropriate.
Focus on outcomes, reliability, and measurable impact, while mentoring teammates and shaping data governance and access control.
