The role

The programme includes structured training, on-the-job experience, and personal development, leading to a Level 2 qualification and FIRAS Technician certification. Skills learned encompass safe tool use, product installation, compliance with fire safety regulations, and teamwork, supported by utilising specialised software. Candidates should display a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude, with GCSEs in Maths and English preferred. The apprenticeship lasts two years, includes paid college block releases, and requires a DBS check; it is not suitable for those already holding a Level 2 qualification.
