The role
Plan and perform downstream operations for viral vectors and biologics, including clarification, filtration, tangential flow filtration (TFF), chromatography on AKTA systems, and ultracentrifugation.
Develop and optimize downstream processes, design and analyze experiments, troubleshoot with data-driven decisions, and support cross-functional teams.
Serve as a downstream subject matter expert in client meetings and contribute to technology transfer of procedures into GMP environments.
Design and execute development studies for suspension and adherence platforms, while supporting cleanroom gowning and GMP readiness.
Prepare and review critical documentation such as protocols, technical reports, risk assessments, and master batch records.
Coach junior associates, uphold high standards of accountability and communication, and ensure timelines are met.
