The role
The Data Scientist will build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML-enabled care workflows that advance patient care, clinical research, and administrative services.
Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to design and implement predictive algorithms and machine learning models on hospital data with strong quality control checks and bias assessments.
Evaluate tools, platforms, and strategies used to manage the model lifecycle in healthcare data and cloud environments.
Train, validate, and productionize researcher-built or vendor-provided algorithms in a safe, ethical, and cost-effective manner.
Communicate results effectively and translate analytic insights into actionable improvements in clinical care and operations.
Operate within a hybrid work model in Palo Alto, applying software development best practices and ensuring adherence to safety and ethics standards.
