Director, Machine Learning

The Director of Machine Learning will define and execute the ML strategy for fraud prevention across the payments ecosystem, aligning with business and technology goals.
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of ML/DL models for fraud detection, with responsibilities for model refresh, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Utilize generative AI to create synthetic data, simulate fraud scenarios, and enhance model robustness and testing, while exploring novel detection methods.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable ML solutions.
Manage cross-functional teams across distributed geographies, hiring and developing talent, and driving agile processes for developer efficiency and delivery metrics.
Oversee production operations, troubleshoot issues, and communicate progress and trade-offs to leadership, ensuring compliance with security standards and risk controls.
