The role involves validating process changes, leading continuous improvement projects, and developing dashboards and KPIs for performance tracking. The engineer supports cost reduction by scrap minimisation, cycle time optimisation, and asset utilisation, while collaborating with quality to reduce defects. They lead a small engineering team, provide leadership, and coach on CI methods to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
