Lead Database Administrator

The Lead DBA is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising database platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and reliable. This role involves strategic planning, technical management of infrastructure, and collaboration with development teams to improve database environments. The individual will lead the implementation of high availability solutions, disaster recovery strategies, and enforce operational standards. They will also mentor team members and drive continuous improvements in database operations and automation processes. Proficiency in both relational and non-relational databases, Linux, scripting, and CI/CD tools is required. The position requires a technical leader capable of tackling complex performance issues and supporting evolving infrastructure needs.
