Senior Civil Engineer

A senior civil engineer is sought to deliver civil infrastructure designs and technical documentation for data centre projects across the UK. The role involves supporting tasks from site due diligence and masterplanning to detailed design and construction support, contributing to project execution and skill development within the sector. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including ground, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as environmental specialists and surveyors—both locally and globally. Responsibilities include developing buildable solutions for site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, access routes, and utility infrastructure, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Candidates should have a civil engineering degree, experience with large-scale developments, and knowledge of planning and utility approval processes. Proficiency in BIM modelling and working within collaborative digital platforms is also desired.
