Senior Industrial Engineer – Providence

The senior industrial engineer will oversee the design and enhancement of manufacturing operations for undersea vehicle assembly within a research and development environment. Responsibilities include developing production line layouts, selecting and justifying capital equipment, and maintaining key performance indicators to ensure optimal line health. The candidate must have experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, with skills in process simulation and material flow management. Technical knowledge of CAD, MES, ERP, and lean manufacturing principles is essential, along with the capability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders. A security clearance is required, and experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies is preferred.
