Chemical Engineer – Chester

A Chemical Engineer is sought to develop and scale chemical processes from laboratory to industrial production for a specialised manufacturing business in Chester. The role involves planning process trials, supporting process design and optimisation, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety standards such as HAZOP. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams across the UK and Europe, with travel to European sites approximately twice a month. Candidates should have a degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, with experience in process development, optimisation or scaling up, preferably within chemical manufacturing or speciality chemicals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and willingness to travel regularly are essential for this role.
