Research Engineer (FICCO)

As a Research Engineer, you will collaborate with researchers to implement studies, simulate trading strategies, and develop algorithms to compete in financial markets. You will embed with trading desks, work closely with traders and portfolio managers, extract domain models, and deliver ergonomic, performant engineering solutions. You will partner with other engineering teams to accelerate the research lifecycle from prototype to production deployment. You will evaluate new technologies and continuously improve our stack, tooling, and infrastructure to support fast-moving research. Requirements include a BS in CS or related field, 2+ years Python in production, strong quantitative finance knowledge, and experience with Linux, large-scale, concurrent, low-latency systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to work with end users and cross-functional teams.
