Production and Logistics Coordinator

The Production and Logistics Coordinator supports the production team to ensure efficient plant operations and organises transportation for customer orders. They communicate with transport companies to schedule deliveries efficiently and produce dispatch documentation for customers. The role involves managing production schedules, ordering materials and consumables, and maintaining safety and administrative standards within the site. They assist in stock management, count stock during month-end inventories, and handle supplier negotiations for additives and packaging. Communication with external laboratories and organising sample deliveries form part of the responsibilities. The position requires organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks across different areas.
