Senior Pre-Construction Manager – Reading

Unispace Life Sciences is seeking an experienced senior pre-construction manager to oversee the entire pre-construction process for CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects, primarily in the commercial and laboratory sectors. The role involves managing bids from enquiry through to contract award, coordinating estimating, design, services, procurement, and consultant contributions, and acting as the central client liaison during tender phases. The manager will need strong project management skills, technical knowledge of fit-out environments, and excellent stakeholder engagement abilities. Familiarity with JCT Design & Build contracts and commercial construction procedures is essential. The successful candidate will work within a team that values precision, proactive communication, and technical excellence.
