Therapeutic Lead – Leicester

The Therapeutic Lead is responsible for providing effective psychological and psychotherapeutic support in residential settings, implementing models of care and enhancing therapeutic practices. They manage risk, improve outcomes, and support team development through assessment, intervention, and training. The role requires conducting clinical assessments, drafting reports and support plans, and leading therapy sessions addressing complex trauma. They offer consultancy and specialist training on developmental trauma, attachment, and therapeutic parenting. Supervision of assistant psychologists and collaboration with external professionals are integral to the role. Candidates must be accredited psychologists or psychotherapists with experience working with children and families involved with statutory agencies.
