Data Scientist

The position involves developing and deploying data science pipelines, applying techniques from computer vision, NLP, and graph analysis to extract and structure local authority data. The role requires collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders to identify how data science can add value, enhance existing codebases, and develop new modelling opportunities. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in Python, AutoML, and advanced AI techniques, along with a relevant degree or experience. The role expects at least 60% remote working, with candidates living within a commutable distance of London. Candidates will be assessed against the Government’s Analysis Function Capability Framework.
