Compliance and Governance Manager

The Compliance and Governance Manager oversees trust compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to statutory frameworks and guidance in education. The role involves managing audit schedules, website compliance, policy reviews, and risk registers, with a focus on trust-wide initiatives excluding finance, health & safety, ICT, and staffing. Candidates should have a strong background in education governance, statutory guidance, and trust structures, along with experience in acting as a Clerk to a Board or its committees. They should also possess exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with Trustees and Governors. The position is based at the Trust Head Office in Rochdale, with travel to schools required. The successful individual will demonstrate leadership, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to advise and support governance bodies.
