Accountant – Newcastle upon Tyne

An established accountancy practice based in Gosforth is seeking an experienced accountant to join its growing team. The role is suitable for part-qualified, qualified by experience, or fully qualified accountants with experience managing client portfolios. Responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns, as well as providing bookkeeping support and liaising with external stakeholders. Strong communication, organisational skills, and experience in accounts preparation and taxation are essential. Candidates qualified by ACCA, ACA, AAT, or with QBE are encouraged to apply. Experience with cloud-based software like Xero and QuickBooks, along with working with owner-managed businesses, is desirable.
