Die Stelle
Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the receipt, storage, distribution and supply of goods across the Trust, ensuring timely and accurate stock control.
Oversee off-loading, receipting, storage and restocking to ward, theatre and department locations using inventory management systems.
Resolve customer and supplier enquiries, provide procurement guidance for savings projects, and ensure compliance with Trust procedures and UK purchasing rules.
Deputise for the Deputy Supply Chain Manager, design roles within the team and develop services to meet changing customer requirements.
Monitor performance, provide training, manage sickness absence, and maintain health and safety compliance while covering main duties.
Engage with end-users, procurement staff and stakeholders to negotiate improvements, deliver benefits and achieve SFIP targets.
