Senior Estimator – Construction and Groundworks

The Senior Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects, managing tender processes from initial enquiry to bid submission. They will collaborate with the Pre-Construction, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure comprehensive and compliant tenders, with a focus on risk management, pricing strategy, and value engineering. The role involves site visits, resource assessment, bill of quantities, and tender documentation, while maintaining client and supplier relationships. A thorough understanding of contract terms, measurement standards, and market conditions is essential, alongside mentoring junior estimators and contributing to business growth strategies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience, strong technical and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex projects efficiently.
